Jozsef Jardan Gunsmith and Metalwork Master
I was born in 1944 in Borsodnadasd, Norh-East Hungary.
My life was greatly determined by my father’s engine-fitter workshop, by the beautiful, hard, but multi-faceted work made there. I graduated at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the Miskolc Technical University in 1967. After graduation I worked as a design engineer in Budapest, later in the Sheet-Metal Works of Borsodnadasd.
My compulsive affection for the ancient arms, especially the swords, has led to the fact that in the last 25 years I have mostly been dealing with the production of them. During the years I systematically accumulated both theoretical and practical knowledge, thus by today I am able to reproduce authentically any type of ancient arms. The results of my activity have been presented in a number of exhibitions for the public.
Beside swords, individual requirements can also be fulfilled preparing special metal works.
